(This was the first Waffle Flower stamp set I ever bought and it's such a fave!)</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">For my card I wanted a purple night time sky so I stamped and then masked my images and ink blended my background with <b><i>Wilted Violet </i></b>and <b><i>Shaded Lilac Distress Oxides</i></b>. I coloured my images with <i><b>Zig Clean Colour Real Brush Markers</b></i>.</div></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">To create a flat shaker I wrapped some clear packaging around my panel and adhered three sides closed, leaving one side open to fill with shaker bits - which include purple and silver sequins, stars and confetti. Once filled and sealed I adhered this whole panel to a card base and voila! SO EASY!!</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">I looove these full shakers and really enjoyed creating this little French scene - Oh how I'm dreaming of being in Paris again! </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div>Cheriesehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15488529604172083432noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2804257099751922388.post-3270214103818471712021-10-07T13:40:00.000+08:002021-10-07T13:40:55.662+08:00Slimline Flat Shaker<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjzEMaOEx1qT5NVZSEAsl4N4TFOa9Wl6DOvuahLPrxIRKg6PnyhwamD2qeuani_ZguKsS1OcPnaU9L_6L_PyR0rIIbt-ADXVhTHYUcA7GVWnUgKU_H5vTxcL9b8Q_QmPYTVC5JkjOYXBFp7/s1948/Flat+Slimline+Shaker.JPG" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1476" data-original-width="1948" height="484" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjzEMaOEx1qT5NVZSEAsl4N4TFOa9Wl6DOvuahLPrxIRKg6PnyhwamD2qeuani_ZguKsS1OcPnaU9L_6L_PyR0rIIbt-ADXVhTHYUcA7GVWnUgKU_H5vTxcL9b8Q_QmPYTVC5JkjOYXBFp7/w640-h484/Flat+Slimline+Shaker.JPG" width="640" /></a></div><div style="text-align: justify;">Sharing a Flat Slimline Shaker that I made this week. I was inspired by Amy R over at <a href="https://prairiepaperandink.typepad.com/amyr/shaker-cards/" target="_blank">Prairie Paper & Ink</a> - she has been on a roll with these shakers lately and I thought they'd be so fun to try! </div><br /><div style="text-align: justify;">Flat shakers are so fabulous and ridiculously easy to make - this took me no time at all because I decided to use gold glittered patterned cardstock as my base. I wrapped some packaging around this and adhered three sides, leaving one open to fill with my shaker bits - which include gold sequins, black star confetti and little bits of vellum and glitter card. </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiSljCNGJV3avcWTsm0XisNFVh4iGCql3RACP5CYubiOI7Py_HlroF-drco1wReeckHPwrnlDtnx9tA_m78yp8BGkcsCusUEiUx7FW7MUekdHjS82Oz1Ir8qw8QbyTTwHRZGDxyilrSLUD2/s2016/Flat+Slimline+Shaker2.JPG" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2016" data-original-width="1512" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiSljCNGJV3avcWTsm0XisNFVh4iGCql3RACP5CYubiOI7Py_HlroF-drco1wReeckHPwrnlDtnx9tA_m78yp8BGkcsCusUEiUx7FW7MUekdHjS82Oz1Ir8qw8QbyTTwHRZGDxyilrSLUD2/w480-h640/Flat+Slimline+Shaker2.JPG" width="480" /></a></div>Once filled I I closed the last flap and adhered the whole panel to a black slimline card. To decorate the outside of the shaker I used the <i><b>Pinkfresh Studio Heather Lowercase</b></i> dies to cut "eighteen" (twice in black and once in gold) and stacked them onto the front! </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">And voila, done! I stamped and die cut some <i><b>Pinkfresh Studio Lovely Blossoms</b></i> as well as used floral ephemera from <i style="font-weight: bold;">Pinkfresh Studio Days of Splendor </i>and added them around the edge of the circle. To finish, I added some little pearls!</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><div>Inks used on the florals: <i><b>Pinkfresh Studio Sky Blue</b></i>, <i><b>Summer Shower, </b></i><i><b>Lavender</b></i></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div>Entering this into the <a href="https://www.simonsaysstampblog.com/wednesdaychallenge/" target="_blank">Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge "Anything Goes"</a></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div></div>Cheriesehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15488529604172083432noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2804257099751922388.post-23645187389392289952021-05-26T11:18:00.000+08:002021-05-26T11:18:46.452+08:00Fancy Floral Shaker<p style="text-align: justify;"></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgEYZj37dvr1mvl5QZbtARv_9f72MsKFgLAnmY-LjnmcG30JUOn5f7GdxzonVyTaYIpWqTYFZKf8urSB0gfM6QgX9zv1F6dGQ-ZXYwYqaqlpgs9blBWW9MFrPp9f4oJEsKlBxXwlG8LW6K8/s1955/Fancy+Floral+Shaker.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1955" data-original-width="1512" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgEYZj37dvr1mvl5QZbtARv_9f72MsKFgLAnmY-LjnmcG30JUOn5f7GdxzonVyTaYIpWqTYFZKf8urSB0gfM6QgX9zv1F6dGQ-ZXYwYqaqlpgs9blBWW9MFrPp9f4oJEsKlBxXwlG8LW6K8/w494-h640/Fancy+Floral+Shaker.jpg" width="494" /></a></div><p></p><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: medium;">Sharing this fun shaker card that I made for the <a href="https://www.pinkfreshstudio.com/blogs/card-making-challenges/may-2021-challenge" target="_blank">Pinkfresh Studio May 2021 <i>Anything Goes</i> Challenge</a> (and for a friends Birthday!) This was really perfect timing as I have an upcoming 16th Birthday and decided to focus on the word "Sweet"! I initially struggled with this card, I knew that I wanted to use lots of quirky patterned papers but I was so undecided about the layout and colours!<p></p><p style="text-align: justify;">I started by die cutting the <i><b>Pinkfresh Studio Braided Tag</b></i> from this cute paper and layered it on top of some purple card. The 'Sweet" and "16" were die cut using <i><b>Pinkfresh Studio Heather Lowercase</b></i>. </p><p style="text-align: justify;">To make the "16" pop a bit more, I decided to cut a circle out of vellum and then dipped the edges into some <i><b>Versamark Watermark ink</b></i> and added some <i><b>Shrinking Violet WOW embossing glitter</b></i>. To add a bit more interest, I stamped and die cut some <i><b>Pinkfresh Studio Lovely Blossoms</b></i> as well as floral ephemera from <i style="font-weight: bold;">Pinkfresh Studio Days of Splendor </i>and added them to the bottom of the tag.</p><div style="text-align: justify;">The bow was made with the <i><b>We R Memory Keepers 123 Punch Board</b></i>.</div><p style="text-align: justify;">This challenge really pulled me out of my creative slump and I'm happy with how it all came together in the end!</p><p style="text-align: justify;">How de we feel about the quirky mish mash of patterned papers and colours? I'm kinda digging it!</p><p style="text-align: justify;"><br /></p><p style="text-align: justify;"><br /></p><p style="text-align: justify;"><br /></p>Cheriesehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15488529604172083432noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2804257099751922388.post-88012007924378812912021-01-26T17:57:00.004+08:002021-01-26T17:57:45.990+08:00Braided Tag Card<p style="text-align: center;"></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjgUP3o1nT_o6l-At4g0SzPqnezYrmBGd3FIGzXGrYUxzJKgPVnpOkUt1dW0gEtnpGM2NH4xWHqBan3yO1hbekKe7FqA838BOwD5BEFhHvvoJj8Q2Roj-jPCRUJ0DnTn_HTDuF3oYAs3A-C/s1906/pinkfresh+braided+tag+card.JPG" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1906" data-original-width="1506" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjgUP3o1nT_o6l-At4g0SzPqnezYrmBGd3FIGzXGrYUxzJKgPVnpOkUt1dW0gEtnpGM2NH4xWHqBan3yO1hbekKe7FqA838BOwD5BEFhHvvoJj8Q2Roj-jPCRUJ0DnTn_HTDuF3oYAs3A-C/w506-h640/pinkfresh+braided+tag+card.JPG" width="506" /></a></div><br /><div style="text-align: justify;">Sharing my card for the <a href="https://www.pinkfreshstudio.com/blogs/card-making-challenges/january-2021-challenge">Pinkfresh Studio January 2021 Challenge </a>- I was inspired by <a href="https://www.pinkfreshstudio.com/blogs/card-making-challenges/august-2020-challenge">August 2020 Florals</a>! <div style="text-align: justify;">
Sharing a super quick Birthday card using my favourite Mama Elephant Big Happy Birthday Creative Cut and a cutie Little Cat Agenda stamp. I cut the die three times from blue cardstock and once from glitter card and stacked all together for dimension, stamped and coloured the kitty with some pencils and gel pens and mounted onto some fun blue chevron paper!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I always love making this brilliant die the focal point of the card - especially love the pop of glitter!</div>

I have one last Easter card for you (I made a bunch okay!) - for this one I used the leftover stitched oval from my shaker card and created a little Easter scene using <span style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: "molengo"; font-size: 15.4px; text-align: justify;">the </span><i style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: Molengo; font-size: 15.4px; text-align: justify;">Basket of Blossoms</i><span style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: "molengo"; font-size: 15.4px; text-align: justify;"> dies from </span><a href="https://www.papercraftmagazines.com/2018/02/09/die-cutting-essentials-34/" style="background-color: white; color: #d897c8; font-family: Molengo; font-size: 15.4px; text-align: justify; text-decoration-line: none;" target="_blank">Issue #34</a><span style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: "molengo"; font-size: 15.4px; text-align: justify;"> of Die-Cutting Essentials.</span><br />
<br />
For the background panel I ink blended <b><i>Shaded Lilac</i></b> and <i style="font-weight: bold;">Seedless Preserves Distress Oxides, </i>stamped "Happy" from<b><i> LF Meow You Doin'</i></b> in <i><b>Picked Raspberries</b></i> and die cut "Easter" with Impression Obsessions <b><i>Easter Greetings</i></b> word die. Then I adhered the oval scene using foam tape for some dimension.<br />
<br />
This was super quick and I'm happy with how it turned out!<br />

<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: "molengo"; font-size: 15.4px;">Sharing another Easter card today - this time, a shaker! I adore creating shaker cards and this turned out to be so fun!</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
This gorgeous floral yellow card was a piece leftover from a previous craft session and it was the perfect size for the kind of shaker I had in mind. After rounding the corners of the card I cut a window to the left using a <i><b>Scrap Dragon Stitched Oval die</b></i> (I saved the oval itself and created another card which I'll share soon!)</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>

I have a few of these to share and will do more posts but for this one I used pink gingham paper cut with a ScrapDragon square scallop die for the background and various cardstocks for my bunny and basket!<br />

My Simon Says Stamp Peony Bouquet stencil finally arrived last week and I got to have a bit of a play over the weekend! Stencils are new to me so I had some fun trying out lots of ink blending with this gorgeous bouquet! </div>

<div style="text-align: left;">
For my card I used Distress Oxides in: Shaded Lilac, Seedless Preserves, Chipped Sapphire and Mowed Lawn & I added a Thank You Script die from Pretty Pink Posh.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="text-align: justify;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="text-align: justify;">I also decided to make a quick tag using Lawn Fawn Tag You're It! I blended some Worn Lipstick, Dried Marigold and Shaded Lilac Distress Oxides and added a Tiny Tags Sayings sentiment stamped in Seedless Preserves!</span></div>

...I made this easel card for an upcoming 60th Birthday - I recycled the art deco image cut using LF stitched scalloped rectangles, the "60" was cut with LF Finley's 123s and mounted on an LF scalloped circle and I also added some Poppystamps stitched butterflies. Patterned papers are from DCWV Love & Grow.<br />

I made a DIY Pop Up Slider Birthday Card this week using some new patterned paper. Let me tell you, patterned papers are my jam!! I have boxes full of gorgeous pads of paper that I hardly use *sighs* I had so much fun with this, my first interactive card!<br />
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg_j8obfl7wsDESEfTwRsWZf1gb5M8br8HW_7KPYxZa4DCRfwcEX801d-QiEUtTvEFn8wp0Mtw8RQWLxB55f6iKKz3fus3OIdy-TzGkHptqwFsOXbIwIDiQ99SK2mGlxC2eLaEVtywNJ2Q2/s1600/Pop+Up+Slider.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1280" data-original-width="960" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg_j8obfl7wsDESEfTwRsWZf1gb5M8br8HW_7KPYxZa4DCRfwcEX801d-QiEUtTvEFn8wp0Mtw8RQWLxB55f6iKKz3fus3OIdy-TzGkHptqwFsOXbIwIDiQ99SK2mGlxC2eLaEVtywNJ2Q2/s400/Pop+Up+Slider.jpg" width="300" /></a></div>
It turned out to be super easy to construct (I watched a few YouTube tutorials) - it looks a bit complicated, especially if you're doing it without the aid of specialty dies, but honestly all you need is a paper trimmer and your trusty craft knife!<br />
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I settled for these floral papers from DCWV Love & Grow. I used the Mama Elephant Big Happy Birthday as my main attraction, cut from silver glitter card and added extra sentiments from Birthday Messages and Scripty B'day for the inside and pull up flaps! I also made a matching yellow envelope!</div>
