2021 Christmas Cards

I'm taking part in the Pinkfresh Studio December 2021 Challenge - this month's prompt is HOLIDAYS so I'm sharing my 2021 Christmas Cards!

My cards for this year feature the adorable Pinkfresh Studio Tree Trimming Friends Stamp Set!

I started by die cutting the Pinkfresh Studio Braided Tag from some white card and onto these I stamped the Trees with Pinkfresh Studio Soft Lilac ink. I then stamped the detailed layer of the trees with Versamark Watermark ink and heat embossed with WOW Shrinking Violet embossing glitter for some extra sparkle. The bears were stamped with Pinkfresh Studio Warm Buff ink and coloured with Flesh Colour Zig Real Brush Marker. The gifts, star and sentiment were stamped using Pinkfresh Studio Sky Blue, Altenew Pinkalicious & Sunray inks and Brutus Monroe Gilded embossing powder.

I foam mounted the braided tag onto various Holiday patterned cardstock and added the bears and little extras to fill out my scene! I really enjoyed creating these cards and I love how this whimsical little scene turned out!

Bonjour Full Shaker

Today I'm participating in the fun October Challenge over at Waffle Flower - this month the theme is Shaker Cards so here I am sharing another edge to edge shaker using the darling Waffle Flower Bonjour stamp set! (This was the first Waffle Flower stamp set I ever bought and it's such a fave!)

For my card I wanted a purple night time sky so I stamped and then masked my images and ink blended my background with Wilted Violet and Shaded Lilac Distress Oxides. I coloured my images with Zig Clean Colour Real Brush Markers.

To create a flat shaker I wrapped some clear packaging around my panel and adhered three sides closed, leaving one side open to fill with shaker bits - which include purple and silver sequins, stars and confetti. Once filled and sealed I adhered this whole panel to a card base and voila! SO EASY!!

I looove these full shakers and really enjoyed creating this little French scene - Oh how I'm dreaming of being in Paris again!

Slimline Flat Shaker

Sharing a Flat Slimline Shaker that I made this week. I was inspired by Amy R over at Prairie Paper & Ink - she has been on a roll with these shakers lately and I thought they'd be so fun to try!

Flat shakers are so fabulous and ridiculously easy to make - this took me no time at all because I decided to use gold glittered patterned cardstock as my base. I wrapped some packaging around this and adhered three sides, leaving one open to fill with my shaker bits - which include gold sequins, black star confetti and little bits of vellum and glitter card.
Once filled I I closed the last flap and adhered the whole panel to a black slimline card. To decorate the outside of the shaker I used the Pinkfresh Studio Heather Lowercase dies to cut "eighteen" (twice in black and once in gold) and stacked them onto the front!

And voila, done! SUPER EASY right?? I am obsessed with these edge to edge shakers and have so many ideas I want to try out!

World Card Making Day!!

Hope you had a fab World Card Making Day!! To celebrate I am sharing this 65th Birthday card that I made for my Mum!

I started by die cutting the the two largest dies from the Pinkfresh Studio Inverted Stitched Scallop Circles three times from white card and once from cream shimmer cardstock, I stacked and adhered these together on top of a circle of vellum. The "65" was die cut using Pinkfresh Studio Heather Lowercase - I adhered this to the middle of the vellum circle and added to my patterned card base. I stamped and die cut some Pinkfresh Studio Lovely Blossoms as well as used floral ephemera from Pinkfresh Studio Days of Splendor and added them around the edge of the circle. To finish, I added some little pearls!

Inks used on the florals: Pinkfresh Studio Sky BlueSummer Shower, Lavender

Fancy Floral Shaker

Sharing this fun shaker card that I made for the Pinkfresh Studio May 2021 Anything Goes Challenge (and for a friends Birthday!) For my window I used the Pinkfresh Studio Fancy Floral 2 die, cut from white shimmer cardstock glued onto some acetate.

The sentiment is from Pinkfresh Studio Happy Birthday Sentiments and heat embossed with WOW Vintage Peacock glitter powder then cut with its coordinating die and adhered onto a strip of vellum layered on top of the card. I filled my window with gorgeous teal sequins and added some pale green cardstock with foam tape to sandwich it all in!

Super happy with how this card turned out - I'm a sucker for shaker cards and am obsessed with this floral die!

Celebrate!

Today I'm sharing my card for the Pinkfresh Studio March 2021 Challenge - this month the challenge is all about flowers! I absolutely adore Pinkfresh Studio and this year I am so determined to grow my Pinkfresh stash (slowly getting there) !!!!

For my card, I die cut three Pinkfresh Leafy Envelopes and adhered them together for a bit of dimension. I stamped and die cut a bunch of Pinkfresh Lovely Blossoms and tucked them all over the envelope. For the background I scored some yellow paper at every quarter inch to add some texture and adhered the envelope on top, leaving the leafy bits un-glued so they curl up and add more interest.

The "Celebrate" is from Happy Birthday Sentiments and was heat embossed with Ranger Rose Gold powder and die cut with its coordinating die.

Inks used:
Blue florals - Pinkfresh Studio Sky Blue & Summer Shower
Purple flowers - Pinkfresh Studio Lavender
Pink flowers - Altenew Pinkalicious
Yellow flowers - Altenew Chamomile Marigold
Green leaves - Lawn Fawn Cilantro & Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide

Love love love how this card turned out and I'll definitely be making more of these with different colour combos!
