Here is my entry for the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge using "More Than One Stencil" - My old stash of stencils are not fantastic (I think my mum bought them to spruce up some old furniture..fifteen plus years ago!!) So after a few quick tutorials on YouTube I decided to make a couple of my own! I just grabbed some scraps of vellum, sketched out some cloud and mountain shapes, cut them out and got to colouring! Pretty simple hey?
My chosen method for colouring in is a bit different to the norm - Over my piece of paper I like to "shave" the tip of my pencil on the edge of a sharpener blade to create small shards and flecks and then I rub them into my paper/images for a softer effect!
I'm pretty happy with how my DIY stencils turned out in the end - please share if you have any stencil tutorials, I'd love to update my stash hehe!!
