Words of Wisdom Wednesday!!

This week my wisdom comes from one of my favourite movies of all time – Sleepless in Seattle. A huge heartfelt thank you to the late Nora Ephron, whose movies taught me how to feel (I know it sounds so corny, but its true!) I’m so grateful to have grown up watching her movies – I hope we dedicate this whole year to her!
"It was a million tiny little things that, when you added them all up, they meant we were supposed to be together... and I knew it. I knew it the very first time I touched her. It was like coming home... only to no home I'd ever known... I was just taking her hand to help her out of a car and I knew. It was like... magic."

What I’ve learned from Nora Ephron movies …

1. That we should all have what she’s having.
2. You can be friends, nay, lovers with the one person who you thought you despised most (like a modern day Elizabeth Bennett!)
3. Breakups can be hilarious.
4. New York City is the best place in the world to fall in love.
5. There’s nothing like having a good cry over your favourite movie.

  1. I love that you paralleled her with Elizabeth Bennett! Pride & Prejudice is both my favorite book and movie.
